Altum credit guarantee serves as additional collateral for a company’s liabilities to Rietumu Banka.
Up to 80% of the loan principal
Up to EUR 2.25 million (large enterprises)*
With a term of up to 10 years
Annual rate of 0% for guarantees up to EUR 4,999,999**
* currently, a coordination process with the European Commission is underway to allow large enterprises to receive guarantees of up to EUR 25 million
** for guarantee applications received by 30.06.2026.
Credit guarantees are available to business operators registered in Latvia – legal entities.
A credit guarantee is issued to companies that have insufficient collateral to obtain a loan or to obtain a loan in the required amount, but that have a transparent financial history and positive creditworthiness.
It meets the criteria for initiation of insolvency proceedings.
Insolvency proceedings have been declared by a court ruling, legal protection proceedings or out-of-court legal protection proceedings are being implemented.
Bankruptcy proceedings have been initiated by a court ruling, reorganisation (sanation) or a settlement has been applied.
Altum guarantees are issued with the support of the European Regional Development Fund.
