Like most other European countries, this weekend Latvia announced a state of emergency in order to prevent the spread of the infection Covid-19.
Starting from March 17 borders of the country will be closed. It has been announced that the state of emergency will last at least until April 14. Restrictions on the operation of educational, children's, cultural and several other institutions have been introduced.
