The Central Bank of the Russian Federation and the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus has extended accreditation of the representative offices of Rietumu Bank in Moscow and Minsk for another three years – until October 2015 and January 2016 respectively.
“Extension of the accreditation is not a simple formality – such a decision is evidence of the positive assessment of our operation on the part of the government institutions of Russia and Belarus,” said Senior Vice-president of Rietumu Bank Ilya Suharenko.
He emphasised that one of the popular issues Russians and Byelorussians apply to the representative offices for is the possibility of obtaining a residence permit in Latvia, and the bank provides complex support to its clients in this regard. Another important trend of our offices operation is the consideration and analysis of investment proposals and projects for possible financing which regularly come to the representative offices.
Apart from Russia and Belarus, representative offices of Rietumu Bank and its partners operate in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Romania and France.
