This is to inform that introduction of the new customer identification system Rietumu ID is almost completed. The system ensures the higher level of security and functionality. At present, Rietumu ID is the most up-to-date, user-friendly and highly secure system of customers’ interaction with the Bank.
We suggest our customers, who have not done so yet, switch to the new system of identification Rietumu ID free of charge. Those customers, who have Rietumu ID already, can use its new comprehensive features and interactive opportunities. This is also to remind that each customer receives Rietumu ID set, when switching to the system. The pack comprises a digital certificate valid for 5 years and DigiPass keyring for generating one-time passwords. Each one-time password is valid only for a few minutes and cannot be used more than once, thus ensuring high security level.
Rietumu ID also improves the functionality of remote access systems and facilitates your daily interactions with the bank. Amongst other options, you can perform a number of operations by phone:
– to convert currencies
You can convert amounts below EUR 5000 (or equivalents in other currencies) any time by calling the bank’s customer information centre at +371 67025555. You can convert amounts exceeding this limit only during business hours by calling our dealers (at +371 67025208, + 371 67025209 or + 371 67025289); you can also deliver currency conversion orders for amounts exceeding EUR 5 000 during non-business hours by phone +371 67025555 – your order will be accepted and executed later.
To confirm a deal and get a special currency conversion rate you need to tell your account number, Rietumu ID number and one-time password from DigiPass. No other confirmations by remote systems are required. Now currency conversion deals are executed quickly and efficiently. – to transfer currencies between your accounts almost round-the-clock; daily limit of a card account replenishment is EUR 5 000 (or equivalent in other currencies), replenishment of other accounts is unlimited
– to make outgoing payments effected by your templates; daily limits are set as agreed by the customer and the bank
– to place deposits.
Please note that Rietumu ID allows using Rietumu BankWorld not only in a full-access mode, with a digital certificate, but also in a limited-access mode – without the certificate.
