On 7 September 2009, the USA celebrate a Federal Holiday – Labor Day. On this day all state and commercial institutions, including banks, in the US will be closed. Therefore, on 8 September Rietumu Bank will not perform the account crediting operations in USD, which are carried out through the American correspondent banks.
Outgoing payment instructions in US dollars received from customers on 4 September after Cut off time (6:00 p.m. Latvian time) will be sent on the same date with value date marked as 8 September 2009.
Starting from 9 September, all transactions in USD will be carried out as usual.
