Please be informed that for the convenience of its clients Rietumu Bank is extending the term for exchanging lats in cash for euros until 1 December, 2014.
Starting from 1 July, a commission of 3% from the transaction amount (minimum EUR 5) will be charged by the bank for this operation.
In accordance with the law, commercial banks of Latvia provided the free exchange of lats in cash for euros at the fixed rate and with no commission for six months, starting from euro introduction until 30 June 2014.
The Bank of Latvia will exchange lats in cash for euros with no time limit.
