On 25 May 2009, the USA celebrates a Federal Holiday – Memorial Day. On this day all state and commercial institutions, including banks, in the US will be closed. Therefore, on 26 May Rietumu Bank will not perform the account crediting operations in USD, which are carried out through the American correspondent banks.
Outgoing payment instructions in US dollars received from customers on 22 May after Cut off time (3:00 p.m. Latvian time) will be sent on the same day with value date marked as 26 May 2009.
Outgoing payment instructions in US dollars received from customers on 25 May will be sent on the same day with value date marked as 26 May 2009 irrespective of time of their receipt.
Starting from 27 May, all transactions in USD will be carried out as usual.
