Starting from Monday, 21 December, a new way of online payment confirmation for all Rietumu Bank payment cards will come into effect.
Further on, when making an online payment involving 3D Secure technology, the user of any Rietumu Bank payment card will need to confirm a payment with the digital signature from his Digipass device or its mobile analogue Mobile Digipass.
To make payment confirmations with Mobile Digipass easier, please activate Push notifications function for your iRietumu HD app.
As we informed earlier, the new system is being introduced to increase the safety of card payments – in accordance with the provisions of European Directive PSD2 (Payment Service Directive 2), setting the latest safety standards for payment systems.
