500 prizes of Rietumu’s cycling team

The new exhibition about Rietumu Bank’s professional cycling team has opened in the gallery of Rietumu Capital Centre. During the sponsorship period exceeding 10 years, the team secured over 500 medal places and became one of the most successful in Europe.

At present, there are 11 highly-qualified cyclists in Rietumu Delfin – from Latvia and Estonia – including two ladies. This year, the sportsmen have already participated in over 20 international competitions in the Baltics, Sweden, Belgium, France, and Russia, where they secured 15 medal places.


Since its inception in 2002, Rietumu Delfin secured over 500 medal places in numerous European competitions and championships. The sportsmen also represent Latvia in the prestigious UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) ranking of the International Cycling Federation, where they have two leading positions – 8th (Allan Oras) and 4th (Ivanda Eiduka) places.


All guests are welcome to see the photo gallery, where more than 50 shots will overwhelm you with cycling triumphs, competitive and humorous moments. You may also find impressive the collection of trophies, professional equipment and several types of bicycles, as well as to watch the themed movie.
 
The exhibition is taking place in the gallery of Rietumu Capital Centre, the bank’s HQ on 7 Vesetas street in Riga.
